Environments

Some environment work created for a client. These two were a blast to paint, I really want to expand my portfolio in terms of showing environments, so this was a welcome change for me.

Of Thieves and Elves

This is a the book cover illustration for A.P. Stephen's "Of Thieves and Elves". I was asked to paint something in the style of Batman: Arkham City, so this image was painted pretty much entirely in grayscale. I haven't painted exclusively with grayscale for years, so this was a nice change of pace, and really forced me to concentrate more on values and lighting as opposed to color.
